Special Issue Book [B.01] "Modelling of Harbour and Coastal Structures" by Karambas and Samaras, published by MDPI.
The Book is available to download in PDF format and/or order in Hard Copy format at: Link. The Book is a reprint of articles from the homonymous Special Issue published in the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering, available at: Link. Readers of this Special Issue Book will find in it a versatile collection of articles on the modelling of harbour and coastal structures, covering a variety of aspects, viewpoints and methodological approaches on the studied topics. The Editors hope that this Special Issue Book will contribute to research efforts in the field, as well as to the general discussion towards effectively designed coastal protection and adaptation measures in present and future climates. Paper [J.21] "Modelling the impact of climate change on coastal flooding: Implications for coastal structures design" by Samaras and Karambas published in the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering (Publisher: MDPI).
The paper is now accessible at: Link. I am really glad to announce the launch of the Research Topic entitled "Climate Change impacts on Mediterranean Coastal and Transitional Areas: Assessment, Projection, and Adaptation" in Frontiers in Marine Science (Publisher: Frontiers), with Dr. Davide Bonaldo (CNR, Italy), Prof. Agustin Sanchez-Arcilla (UPC, Spain), Prof. Maria Snoussi (UM5, Morocco) and myself as Topic Editors.
This Research Topic invites original scientific contributions on topics including:
